A while back Chips wrote about scrap wood. So what do you do with all those little pieces that are too good to throw away? Here is one way to put even the tiniest piece to use. The central thingy with the steps leading up is a little drawer.

A prerequisite for making something like this is a total lack of having anything better to do. If you don’t do drugs like me then I suppose a good dose of insanity is probably another key ingredient. Then I’d rather be abnormal. “Normal” or “the norm” is so utterly boring. Take fashion or trends. I’ve been checking out furniture trends lately. French provincial is now the “in” thing. Why? Because the media gods has decided. And the lime wash thing? Still going strong.
I wish people were a little more adventurous in their sense of taste and style but as with everything else they have to be told what they like and how to live. So they end up buying things they don’t like with money they don’t have to impress people they don’t know.
Hurray for the exceptions, the bold adventurous spirits who dares to go where their souls lead them. Hurray!

O.......net so ietsie by. Ek dink jy moet n draai hier by my maak, my boeke is uitgepak. Vat n dag iewers uit jou program en kom sit hier rustig.

Div, a thing of beauty! I understand only too well the state of mind you have get into to do the more creative projects. Try weaving 15 200 aluminium rings together to make a chain mail vest. I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every second of it.
