Welcome to what is quite possibly the first blog site in SA dedicated solely to the craft and art of woodworking. I warmly invite all woodworkers to participate. Woodworkers of all levels and disciplines are welcome. Whether you are a turner, toymaker, carver or cabinetmaker, we all work with this wonderful material and whether you are a beginner or a master, there is always something new to learn.
Let’s share knowledge!
I will be voicing my thoughts on matters relating to woodwork from time to time, but I am hoping this blog page will become much more than that. I would like it to become a place where one can find technical advice, search for a rare tool, share a woodworking opinion, ask an expert or just muse on this wonderful craft.
I have been professionally involved with the woodworking game for well over 25 years, in many different fields and there is quite a library in my workshop. Maybe I can help with a question. If not, I have some very experienced friends that includes master turners, master cabinetmakers, even a tool expert! I am sure that between the lot of us we can find an answer to most problems. And if not, well that’s how this blog can hopefully help.
