All of these creations are unique and not factory produced. They all exist for a specific reason and each one has a story to tell. Some came about because I often have the desire to build something beautiful, something that has not yet been seen, and some because they had to fulfill a specific set of requirements. Some can serve a need in wide applications while others are site specific and address a particular need.

We can attempt to duplicate a specific design should it be necessary.  Because we have no drawings for any of our pieces, the duplication will at best be similar to the original.  Each piece you see in these pages is an original and no copies exist.

We work in a wide variety of styles but love to break away from the traditional mould, at least as far as design is concerned. You won't find cottage furniture or period reproductions in our shop but possibly a new twist on an old style. Our quest is to present a fresh approach to the craft of woodworking and give a sculptural quality to furniture. Traditional joinery and construction techniques (thanks to Karl, the German) remains a priority in the pieces we design. Being able to harvest and sawmill our own material, ensures access to some truly incredible pieces of wood.
